You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Strategic Munitions and Materials Analysis Branch (JXRL), Experimentation and Assessment Division (JXR), of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $138,370).
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating technical project resource requirements to develop, plan and execute project schedule, milestones and deliverables to improve efficiency and execution of program operations. You will provide support for Strategic Munitions Evaluation Programs in the Strategic Munitions Branch.
You will lead and coordinate multiple projects with core government functions, such as research, development, design, manufacturing, test, evaluation, upgrade, sustainment, acquisition engineering, and life-cycle support.
You will be responsible for managing overall Branch and Division Level Strategic Missions Projects.
You will manage the overall budget and related data calls from Technical Project Manager(s) and Sponsor(s) and provide budget tracking monthly to Technical Project Manager(s), Sponsor(s), and Customer(s).
You will coordinate workload between the many internal Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane organizations performing work in support of the Project.
You will provide technical leadership and guidance on overall execution of the Project where appropriate.
You will perform audits of Project execution and factors affecting quality as required, participating in various Strategic Missile Defense related meeting and working groups in support of the Project.
