This Senior-Level position is located in the Office of Portfolio Monitoring & Management (OPMM) of the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) and is responsible for developing, executing and overseeing all DFC financial monitoring activities post-transfer from business lines that are related to (i) loans and guarantees and (ii) support to investment funds.

You may qualify at the SL-00 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirements: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Candidates must have at least one year of specialized experience related to this position. This experience must be at or above the GS-15 grade level or equivalent. Your resume must reflect experience: 1) managing and monitoring a portfolio of various financial products, across multiple sectors/industries and geographies; 2) preparing data-driven recommendations for senior leadership regarding investment portfolio priorities and concerns, such as transaction origination concerns and asset selection based on portfolio construction; and 3) supervising a team. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. The Vice President leads, plans, organizes, and oversees and manages the Office of Portfolio Monitoring & Management (OPMM) and is responsible for developing, executing and overseeing all DFC financial monitoring activities post-transfer from business lines that are related to (i) loans and guarantees and (ii) support to investment funds. Major Duties include: - Leads and manages the Office of Portfolio Monitoring & Management - Advances strategic portfolio management and monitoring to optimize financial, foreign policy and developmental returns, ensuring compliance with organizational objectives and regulatory standards - Oversees and coordinates the activities of staff engaged in all phases of DFC's exposure management, encompassing the complete credit management cycle from disbursement to repayment - Provides administrative and management leadership across teams, to include managing high-level budget and programming and managing organizational and policy changes, as required. - Guides and manages overall policies, procedures and practices governing portfolio management and monitoring Please Note: This is not a Bargaining unit position.
