MILITARY GRADES: E3 through E7 COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS: 3F071 If applicant is willing to join the Indiana Air National Guard and meet the AFSC compatibility requirements, please upload your Report Individual of Personnel (RIP) to your documents on this application to determine ASVAB qualification. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: 3 years of progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least GS-4, that demonstrates the ability to: Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; Plan and organize work; and Communicate effectively orally and in writing. Such experience may have been gained in administrative, professional, technical, investigative, or other responsible work. Experience in substantive and relevant secretarial, clerical, or other responsible work may be qualifying as long as it provided evidence of the knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) necessary to perform the duties of the position to be filled. Experience of a general clerical nature (typing, filing, routine procedural processing, maintaining records, or other nonspecialized tasks) is not creditable. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience, education or training involving the administering, delivering, maintaining, advising, and adapting basic concepts, principles, and theories of Human Resources (HR) to the unique organizational, management, and mission requirements. Knowledge of, and skill in applying, fundamental HR methods, laws, principles, policies, methods, and practices of the specialization(s); and standardized analytical, and evaluative methods and techniques sufficient to conduct fact finding and recommend solutions to moderately difficult but well precedented and/or recurring issues and problems. Knowledge of military HR regulations, policies, and procedures sufficient to provide technical guidance and advice and to research, analyze, and resolve problems associated with the area of assignment. Specialized experience factors encompass human resources program's business competencies, familiarity with the subject matter or processes used in human resources programs associated with DoD, U.S. Army, or U.S. Air Force. At least 12 months experience equivalent to the next lower grade. Serves as advisor to commanders on assigned unit human resources (HR) programs.
Plans, directs, controls and provides advisory services on all aspects of the Career Enhancement program for both Active Guard Reserve (AGR), unit drill status guardsmen, full time technicians and potential members.
Plans, directs, and controls all aspects of the Customer Service Program.
Plans, directs, and controls all aspects of the human resources employment program.
Plans, directs, and controls all aspects of the Relocation program for all members.
Ensures accuracy of human resources data system and performs functional review of data reliability relative to the relocations program.
Develops wing readiness plans for the administration of contingencies and mobilizations. Determines human resources requirements in support of mobilization.
Manages contingency and exercise deployments.
Manages Deployment Systems.
Performs other duties as assigned.
