This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Specialized Experience for GS-14: One year of specialized experience which includes direct housing program policies and priorities for resourcing levels, lead staff for housing inspections, repair and compliance standards, implement plans and objectives per higher echelon policies, objectives, regulations and state, federal laws, and collaborate with internal and external community partners for shared goals. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
You will serve as a staff advisor and expert consultant on housing management issues, a first level supervisor, leader for the IMCOM-Pacific housing management program and Residential Communities Initiative (RCI).
You will plan, direct and coordinate all phases of the Army regional housing management program, (both family and unaccompanied personnel) and operations of Housing Services.
You will initiate, develop and implement policies governing the establishment, operation and performance of Army Housing programs at installation levels.
You will establish regional targets and guidelines for meeting equal housing opportunity objectives.
You will assemble and lead matrix teams engaged in administrative and professional work involving Army housing and RCI programs to accomplish goals and objectives.
