Opportunity
The Cheesemonger is a knowledgeable and passionate specialist responsible for curating, handling, and selling a wide variety of cheeses and cured meats.  This role involves educating customers, maintaining product quality, and creating an engaging shopping experience centered around artisan, specialty cheeses, and cured meats.  
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide expert knowledge on cheese and cured meat varieties, origins, pairings, and storageAssist customers with recommendations based on taste preferences, recipes, and occasionsCut, wrap, weigh, and label cheese and cured meat products accurately and attractivelyMaintain proper storage and rotation of cheeses and meats to ensure freshness and prevent spoilageCreate and maintain visually appealing displays and merchandising setupsMonitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and receiving shipmentsUphold food safety and sanitation standards at all timesHost tastings, demos, or educational events to promote cheese productsCollaborate with other departments (e.g., wine, bakery) for cross-merchandising opportunitiesAssist in other food production areas as neededFollow dress code and grooming standards that reflect the upscale environmentWill complete all duties and requests as assigned by management  
This is a full-time position working both weekdays and weekends. Shifts vary between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm.
