To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements: Education: There is no substitution of education for specialized experience for this position. Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level. To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular qualifications to perform successfully the duties of the position, and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled. Some examples of this qualifying experience are: Experience maintaining property records for multiple divisions and resolving complex technical issues. Experience initiating all necessary actions pertaining to Agreements, i.e., Interagency Agreements, Intergovernmental Agreements, Reimbursement Agreements, and Memorandum of Understanding. Experience applying Property Management procedures and applicable policies and regulations and Procurement and Acquisitions procedures. Experience organizing and providing guidance in the oversight of inventory and reconciliation of Annual Inventory of Real Property. Experience retrieving property data and reports from a property management system and completing written analysis for management review and decision-making. Experience developing policy and guidance on property management/inventory procedures. Experience participating in property management workgroups to complete special projects and address agency initiatives related to property management including property acquisition, inventory and disposal processes. Experience training staff on property management topics using their knowledge of federal, DOJ and BOP property and financial management policies. Experience working with federal agencies and stakeholders to improve property management controls and processes. If applicable, credit will be given for paid and unpaid experience. Responsible for the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) data in the General Services Administration (GSA)Reimbursable Work Authorization (RWA), Entry and Tracking Application (eRETA)customer portal for information integrated with GSA's financial management system, providing users real-time access to RWA project and financial information. Oversees the design and construction of space layouts and implementation of equipment and technology such as security systems, data, and telephone placements. Provides space planning and utilization support and assistance to BOP officials for the development of effective space layout and design features to accommodate additional workload and staff. Reviews and evaluates cost estimates of renovations, and/or acquisitions for acceptability and consistency with labor and material costs in the various areas of the United States.
