Job Description:

You will serve as a MANAGER in the Expeditionary Electromagnetic Warfare Division (MXQ), Marine EMSO Capability Advancement Branch (MXQP) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-14 Step 10 (currently $163,514).
In addition to basic education requirements, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower band, ND-04 (GS-12/13 equivalent grade level) or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: as a professional engineer or scientist providing administrative/technical oversight on the development, testing, and evaluation of electronic warfare systems for sustainment and readiness of warfare programs for an organization. You will serve as the United States Marine Corps (USMC) Electronic Warfare Branch Manager (MXQP) in the Expeditionary Electronic Warfare Systems Division (MXQ) at Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane.
You will have managerial and decision authority for program(s) which have broad impact within the Navy and the Department of Defense.
You will be responsible for policy decisions that directly impact assigned missions.
You will be involved in the organization's long-range goals, objectives, and direction, and require an analytical approach in order to forecast future trends and outcomes.
You will act as a lead consultant on strategic development for further activity and agency programs.
