Job Description:

You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Rapid Mission Integration & Interoperability Department (MX), Expeditionary C3 & Cyber Division (MXL), Tactical Communications Branch (MXLN) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $138,370).
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating and interpreting policies and procedures to identify cost-effective strategies for improved planning and execution of property or financial management for programs, projects, or initiatives. You will be responsible for planning and managing complex technical projects which contribute to the organization's mission, goals, and objectives.
You will be responsible for the development of written plans and presentations to interested parties on program and project status, problems, and milestones.
You will determine manpower, facilities, equipment, and funding requirements for assigned projects using the Enterprise Resources Management (ERP) system and other applicable tools.
You will ensure assigned tasks are within cost and schedule commitments as negotiated with the customers; responsible for contracting actions and for tracking of project schedule and risk.
You will carry out work that may have little or no precedent and provide leadership in resolving major technical administrative problems.
