At Kohler Waters Spa, finishing services are the final touch that transforms a guest’s visit into a truly memorable experience. As a Lead Finishing Spa Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering Forbes-level service while setting the tone for professionalism, consistency, and excellence within the finishing team.
This role combines hands-on guest service with peer leadership, supporting the spa’s commitment to exceptional customer care. You will serve as a role model for service delivery, product knowledge, and operational standards—ensuring every guest feels cared for, confident, and exceeded in expectation. Our goal is to deliver an elevated, seamless experience every time a guest visits our spa.
Key Responsibilities
Service Excellence & Guest Experience
Consistently provide the highest level of internal and external customer service in alignment with Kohler Waters Spa and Forbes standards
Meet and greet guests with warmth, professionalism, and confidence
Deliver exceptional finishing services while adhering to all technical standards and established SOPs
Use approved spa verbiage and maintain a polished, professional demeanor at all times
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of spa services, amenities, and emergency procedures
Leadership & Team Support
Act as a service and professionalism role model for Finishing Therapists and spa associates
Support open, ongoing communication among team members regarding guest needs, service flow, and operational concerns
Reinforce consistency in service standards, cleanliness, and presentation across the team
Assist leadership in upholding spa culture, accountability, and guest satisfaction
Standards, Safety & Presentation
Ensure cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areasUphold and maintain uniform, grooming, and appearance standards
Adhere to all policies and procedures set forth by Forbes, Kohler Waters Spa, and Kohler Co.
Retail, Education & Performance
Educate guests on at-home care and recommend appropriate retail products to enhance their spa experience
Meet agreed-upon retail sales goals based on department and retail-to-service expectations
Maintain continuing education and licensure requirements in accordance with State of Wisconsin or Illinois regulations.
Special Events & Experiences
Perform services at special events and off-site locations, including golf courses, Riverbend, Sports Core, TAC, and other Kohler-hosted venues
Support spa-hosted events such as Spaliday and other promotional experiences
Participate in special events as a secondary responsibility while prioritizing the core function of the role
