Job Description:
You will serve as an Electronics Technician in the RANGE OPERATIONS BRANCH of the PNW RANGE MANAGEMENT & OPERATION DIVISION of the SYS ACCEPTANCE AND OPERATIONAL READINESS DEPT of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: installing, using, troubleshooting, and repairing established or state-of-the-art electrical, pneumatic, mechanical, electro-hydraulic, or acoustic systems in a marine environment. You will technically direct a group of full performance technicians.
You will plan, schedule, coordinate or conduct the project or detailed phase of a larger project.
You will interpret engineering test plans and apply this information toward directing the efforts of all personnel, range craft, and systems involved in both on and off-range Test, Training and Evaluation operations.
You will be responsible for all range systems including (but not limited to) range craft, recovery systems, launchers, stationary targets, sound recording systems, and tracking systems.
You will provide technical assistance for specialized requirements of complex operations without compromising safety or environmental stewardship in the process.
