Job Description:
You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the CYBERSECURITY BRANCH, LIVE VIRTUAL CONSTRUCTIVE TRAINING DIVISION, RANGE SYSTEMS ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CTR CORONA DIV.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying Information Assurance (IA) policies to provide leadership and guidance, manage Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes, oversee and execute Assessment and Authorization processes, and continuously monitor information security programs and incident responses within classified network environments to include demonstrated experience with cybersecurity tools (e.g. Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS), Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), and various Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions). Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. You will serve as the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) in support of programs managed by Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE).
You will perform information systems security management functions including enterprise cybersecurity functions such as cyber security process development and leadership to Risk Management Framework Accreditations of networks and systems.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day security posture and continuous monitoring of information systems and ensuring information system security measures comply with applicable government policies.
You will lead the execution of the Cybersecurity Campaign Plans to make NCTE enclaves and systems continuously cybersecurity inspection ready.
You will provide cybersecurity technical evaluation of security risks, threats and vulnerabilities of networks, systems, applications and new technology initiatives.
You will provide support in the security-based planning, implementation, and sustainment of new requirements.
