This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing law enforcement (LE), physical security (PS), antiterrorism (AT), and force protection (FP) functions; 2) Conducting preliminary and/or ongoing investigations of incidents regarding unusual situations and/or violations of the law; 3) Conducting checkpoints/roadblocks at various locations to reduce criminal activity; 4) Inspecting packages/personal belongings when admitting personnel into controlled areas; and 5) Responding to emergency calls for service while adhering to state and federal laws. **NOTE: This experience must be fully and clearly supported in your resume. You will apprehend or detain individuals in accordance with regulations or laws.
You will follow law enforcement procedures or techniques to enforce laws and protect life, property, and the civil rights of individuals.
You will implement standard procedures for responding to requests for services, incidents, accidents, and alarms
You will control access to secure areas by determining which vehicles or personnel have credentials for entry.
You will conduct investigative stops on violators of traffic laws.
You will conduct physical security checks of buildings or facilities during an assigned shift.
