Job Description:
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN in the Combat Systems Engineering & Planning Division of PSNS and IMF.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing technical engineering advisory services in testing and certification requirements associated with overhaul, alteration, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting ship systems and components for combat Systems or related support systems. You will be responsible and accountable for the direction and accomplishment of engineering support services.
You will be involved in the certification of all Combat Systems electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
You will resolve major technical deficiencies using Engineering and Planning Department documentation.
You will be responsible for guiding, coordinating, monitoring and working with projects regarding Engineering and Planning effort.
You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
