MILITARY GRADES: E7-E9, WO1-CW3, O1-O4 COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS: **00F, 011A, 01A** GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training in administrative, professional, investigative, technical, or other responsible work which demonstrates analytical ability and a practical and theoretical knowledge of the functions, processes, and principles of management. Knowledge of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience, education, or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Experience analyzing and interpreting policies and the procedures of higher headquarters/management as to applicability to current policies. Experience presenting and discussing complex matters in a clear and convincing manner. Experience in communicating with people from various backgrounds and circumstances.
Establishes and conducts an ongoing program to assess the effectiveness of various staff functions, which provides continuing analysis and evaluation of training center operations.
Conducts studies in conjunction with special projects as assigned by the Garrison Commander, which involve gathering and compiling facts and data associated with the project.
Provides written or oral reports of findings and provides recommendations and alternatives, where applicable.
Oversees the distribution and utilization of manday programs used in support of the training center.
Requests and receives input for the Active Duty Augmentation Program.
Oversees the administrative program for augmentees assigned to the training center.
Provides technical guidance and advice relative to the full scope of technician, AGR, and active duty augmentee personnel matters.
Coordinates manning, staffing and classification issues with the HR office and provides guidance and recommendations to the Garrison Commander.
Oversees the day-to-day functions of one or two employees and varying numbers of seasonal or temporary employees assigned to the function.
Performs other duties as assigned.
