Job Description:
You will serve as a Scientific and Technical Intelligence Liaison Officer (STILO) in the Intelligence Operations Division (SEA 00G) of NAVAL SEA SYSTEMS COMMAND.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the pay band NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing threat intelligence support for acquisition programs; analyzing, interpreting and integrating threat requirements into highly specialized and complex plans, activities and operations; demonstrating knowledge of policies, processes, procedures and regulations governing the intelligence community; and advising leadership and staff on current and future scientific and technical intelligence information. You will counsel, advise and assist the Commander, NAVSEA, Executive Director and program managers in matters pertaining to the application of scientific and technical intelligence upon NAVSEA programs.
You will inform decision makers across NAVSEA to ensure well-reasoned approaches are implemented within the various acquisition efforts, thereby reducing mission-impacting risk.
You will support Program Execution, Strategic Resource Planning, Risk Management, and Technology Investments across the NAVSEA enterprise.
You will develop detailed scientific and technical intelligence requirements for warfare projects so that threats can be accurately identified and defined.
You will influence capability and attributes for NAVSEA systems and equipment to provide maximum military advantage.
You will establish liaison, management techniques and processes and procedures to ensure effective communications between the technical, intelligence, acquisition and operational communities concerning intelligence requirements.
You will work within the Navy, Department of Defense (DoD), and national intelligence communities to make known NAVSEA requirements for intelligence information and communicate this information between the Intelligence Community (IC) and NAVSEA.
