This position is located at the Sip of Glory Coffeehouse in The Peak. Join our team at the Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) at Fort Drum. A qualified candidate must possess the following: math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and inventory, AND skill in mixing and serving the full range of coffee beverages and other specialty non-alcoholic drinks, AND experience utilizing a commercial espresso machine, AND ability to cross train and monitor the work of other staff. Operates a small full-service coffee shop, preparing and serving the full range of coffee beverages and other specialty non-alcoholic drinks. Prepares and serves simple food items.
Operates coffee shop machinery to include commercial espresso machine and stocks coffee bar.
Records sales, takes customer payments for goods by operating a cash register, balances cash drawer at the end of the day.
Maintain clean and sanitary work area, utensils, equipment and coffee bar.
Conducts monthly inventory.
