You will serve as a Contracts Department Head for Keyport's Contracts Department at NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-6 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-14 and GS-15.
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13/14) or NT-05 pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector executing, managing, and directing contracts and the simplified acquisition process, overseeing acquisition functions, and developing policies and procedures for the procurement of supplies and services. You will oversee all acquisition functions for the Division by managing, performing, and developing policies and procedures for the procurement of supplies and services to meet Division requirements.
You will plan, evaluate offers, select offers, negotiate, award contracts and administer and terminate contracts.
You will exercise contractual responsibilities via a warrant, holding unlimited contract warrant authority.
You will serve as the primary contractual advisor the Division, oversee all acquisition and procurement functions, oversee the administration of orders and contracts, and interpret and implement all federal regulations and policies.
You will plan, manage, analyze, coordinate, train and perform administrative functions related to Keyport's Contracts Department.
