About the position: This position will be assigned to the Eglin Outdoor Recreation. This is a NAF (Non-Appropriated Fund) position assigned to the 96th Force Support Squadron at Eglin AFB Florida. Position is Regular Part-time (RPT) guaranteed 20-35 hours per week and schedule tour of duty may include nights, weekends and holidays. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Experience in responsible clerical or office work of any kind in which the applicant has demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily at the grade level of the position. In addition to the above requirement, applicant is required to demonstrate possession of a high degree of proficiency in typing and knowledge of word processing techniques. Must be a qualified typist. Experience of the Force Support Squadron organization and its functions is desirable. Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Uses word processing software to produce a variety of documents. Transmit and receive documents and messages electronically using personal computer or workstation that is networked or linked to other computers or workstations throughout the work area or organization. Types correspondence, reports, forms, messages, memoranda, statistical or tabular material, where spacing arrangements are complicated, directly in final form without a rough draft. Arranges the material in the form necessitated by the nature of the subject matter, the purpose for which it is to be used, the format required by regulations, style manuals or policy. Gathers, compiles, monitors, and maintains records pertaining to Ben's Lake Marina operations. Organizes work schedules provided by supervisor for meetings, briefings and personnel training; inputs into timekeeping system. Provides oversight of the timekeeping system. Performs a wide range of timekeeping duties, including but not limited to: inputting schedules into the timekeeping system, running bi-weekly time and attendance records, and providing supervisor with time/labor reports as needed. Prepares daily financial reports to include labor costs, sales, supply expenses and other financial data. Order, maintains, and stocks various resale merchandise. Performs a variety of general office duties such as receiving telephone calls and visitors, routing and filing correspondence, and maintaining files. Performs other duties as assigned.
