GS-5: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-4 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have successfully completed a Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees. GS-7: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-5 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: assisting in the analysis of pre- and post-award administration of firm fixed price purchase orders, contracts, and/or cost plus fee type contracts. GS-9: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-7 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing analysis of pre- and post-award administration of firm fixed price purchase orders, contracts, and/or cost plus fee type contracts. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
You will analyze incoming requisitions, requirements, and specifications/statements of work to determine correct contract type and procurement strategy.
You will prepare solicitation documents, ensuring that all required federal regulation clauses, provisions, and texts are incorporated into the resultant document.
You will manage the solicitation document through closing, issuing amendments and extensions as required.
You will prepare requests for audits, technical evaluations, and pre-award inspections.
You will analyze the offers received and prepares Pre-Business Clearances requesting authority to enter into negotiation.
You will issue letters of discussion, requests final revised proposals and negotiates contract terms, conditions and pricing, insuring a fair and reasonable price to the Government.
You will perform post award functions on supply and service contracts. This includes negotiating and preparing modifications, terminations, equitable adjustments, and claims.
