About the Position: The District Support Team (DST) Leader manages a team supporting various regional programs like Civil Works, Environmental, Host Nation, IIS, and Military projects. They coordinate efforts, ensure the right skills are assigned, and oversee project planning, design, and construction. The role involves ensuring projects meet goals, budgets, and quality standards while reviewing team performance and managing policies and regulations.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: supporting District management over the assigned Regional Program missions; an in-depth understanding of mission objectives according to applicable guidance and directives in order to anticipate programming needs/problems and to provide timely, effective, and authoritative guidance; and apply extensive management and executive knowledge. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
Leads the team in managing and integrating programs and projects, ensuring effective coordination, cost and schedule management, and policy implementation.
Acts as the primary point of contact for the District Commander, managing team efforts and addressing program and project performance issues.
Provides guidance and quality assurance to ensure project activities comply with criteria, policies, and procedures, and resolves issues with clients and stakeholders.
Advises the POD Commander and Director of Programs on assigned programs, providing expert counsel and managing program performance and business development.
Evaluates and monitors the progress of District projects, identifying issues and ensuring corrective actions are taken to meet program objectives.
Coordinates with RBC staff and other entities to resolve client concerns, delays, and technical problems, ensuring effective project execution and resource management.
