Job Description:

As a Supervisory Project Manager (Construction) - Global Project Management Director, you will provide highly expert professional and/or technical consulting and services surrounding major, complex programs managed and/or facilitated by OPPM. Location of position: GSA - Public Building Services (PBS) - Office of Program and Project Management (PX) We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

The GS-15 salary range starts at $150,359 per year. To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is overseeing teams responsible for the management of projects to deliver strategic national programs or initiatives. This experience must include: Planning, directing and advising others in applying project management policies and procedures to achieve organizational and programmatic goals, Advising diverse organizational representatives on issues involving the application or tailoring of program management methods and procedures, and Working on complex national programs or cross-agency strategic initiatives with multidisciplinary teams, and in two or more of the following program areas: Client/Stakeholder Relationships; Cost and Schedule Management Analysis for Programs; Program Management and Team Leadership; or Construction Management
Provides high level professional, administrative and technical resources in the areas of design, construction, and complex project management programs and projects. Advises the Assistant Commissioner (AC) and Deputy Assistant Commissioner (DAC) on important matters relating to the design, construction and all relevant OPPM programs, activities and initiatives managed by the Division. Serves as a Senior Program Manager and provides expert leadership, analysis, guidance, technical direction and management coordination for PBS Projects. Plans work to be accomplished by subordinates, sets and adjusts short-term priorities and prepares schedules for completion of work; assigns work based on priorities Establishes high level partnerships with stakeholders and others and is responsible for justifying, defending, influencing, negotiating and informing senior management officials
