This position is located at the West Point Bowling Center. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives may be authorized if it is determined to be in the best interest of the Government.

A qualified candidate must possess the following: NF-03 (Trainee): 1. Demonstrated knowledge of management principles and techniques of the type of business to be managed (Hospitality/Bowling Center). This knowledge must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. NF-04: 1. Work experience managing or directing the activities of the type of business (Hospitality/Bowling Center). This experience must be reflected on your resume to be considered eligible for this position. In addition to the above qualifications for the NF-03, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Possess a minimum of one (1) year experience in the hospitality industry (Food & Beverage, Events, Recreation, Bowling, etc) OR Possess and Associates Degree or higher in Hospitality or related field. The experience/education/certification must be reflected on your resume and your degree/transcript/certification uploaded at the time of application to be considered a highly preferred candidate. Applicants meeting the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred first to the Selecting Official. All other applicants will be referred for consideration if the certificate (referral list) is returned with no selection.
This is an entry trainee level position leading to the full performance level as described in PD # AK031 Business Manager, NF- 04 position.
Assignments are selected to ensure the development of skills and abilities needed to perform the target level duties. The employee works under closer than normal supervision wherein work is closely reviewed and detailed guidance provided.
Completes a prescribed agenda of formal/informal classroom and on-the-job training and self-development as set forth in the individual Training Development Plan.
Manages a large business activity. Formulates instructions and directives necessary to operate a fluid, profit generating business activity with a fluctuating customer base. Represents the activity.
Evaluates the success of programs in terms of profitability, customer satisfaction and mission accomplishment Reviews financial reports, estimates projected costs, develops activity financial plan.
