Job Description:

You will serve as a MANAGEMENT & PROGRAM ANALYST in the Training, Tactical Development and Doctrine (Code N7) of PAC FLEET SUB FORCE OPS COMPONENT. A post allowance amount, (otherwise known as: COLA), of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary. Post allowance is subject to change at any time. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying analytical methods to evaluate program and training effectiveness; overseeing the operational testing and performance assessment of major systems; updating technical and operational publications to reflect system improvements; providing expert advisory services to senior leadership on system development and employment; and coordinating large-scale operational exercises and cross-functional projects to support the integration of new capabilities and organizational goals. You will serve as the senior ASW ASUW and MIW weapons and systems analyst responsible for analyzing shipboard processes and procedures.
You will ensure changing capabilities are incorporated into submarine training for ASW, ASUW and MIW warfare and performance is reviewed to detect trends and recommend corrective action.
You will develop and maintain a torpedo and submarine launched mines tactical evaluation plan for COMSUBPAC submarines.
You will oversee and coordinate the tactical testing of torpedoes and submarine launched mines on SUBPAC submarines in Pearl Harbor, HI, San Diego, CA and Bangor, WA, Guam, and other western Pacific testing and demonstration areas.
You will provide onsite torpedo operational and employment training.
You will provide advisory and consultative services to the COMSUBPAC staff and subordinate commands in all matters relating to the development and use of torpedoes and mines on COMSUBPAC submarines.
You will serve as COMSUBPAC N7 point of contact to Undersea Warfare Development Command (UWDC) for torpedo and mine weapon and tactics development.
You will maintain relationships with numbered fleet ASW, ASUW, and MIW planners to stay current on plans and keep submarine training responsive to their needs.
