Job Description:

You will serve as a Program Manager in the Shipbuilding Program Office (PMS 400D) of PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE SHIPS.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector developing acquisition strategies and managing program planning, contract, cost, schedule, or technical (performance) aspects of a major shipbuilding or weapon system acquisition program, developing public affairs and Congressional affairs products such as articles, briefs, press releases, requests for information and questions for the record. You will provide management support in the execution of highly complex program management duties for an ACAT 1C shipbuilding program.
You will develop and coordinate DDG 51 program and acquisition documentation required to meet DoD 5000 regulations.
You will develop and coordinate acquisition-related reports, cost estimates, and analyses during all phases of ship acquisition.
You will review, prepare and present responses to all source shipbuilding program audits conducted by the Navy, and other agencies and administrative and investigative reports which involve program issues related to acquisition management.
You will monitor contractual and legal problems during acquisition, design and construction of ships and associated services.
