This position is located at Departmental Offices,Management CFO - Treasury Operations.The mission of Treasury Operations within the U.S. Department of Treasury is to provide operational leadership, enabling high quality services to support the accomplishment of the Department's critical mission.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: : Specialized experience for the GS-15: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes all of the following: - Experience developing and managing employees professional development and training; AND - Experience with formulation of goals and objective, and developing strategies to achieve the desired operational outcomes; AND - Responsibility for formulation and execution of program budgets; AND - Experience with the evaluation of programs effectiveness, including the use of metrics and providing recommendations for continuous improvement. The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. As a/an Director of Business Services, (DBS) you will: Advise and brief the Chief of Operations and DAS and other senior officials on Treasury Operations budgetary matters. Oversee and manage all contracts related (but not limited to) the following areas that affect DO and Treasury-Wide operations: fleet management; reduction of Treasury's footprint and sustainability; emergency preparedness and health safety; special events coordination and logistics; lease space and contracts with GSA. Be responsible for the business intelligence products for fiscal accountability within Treasury Operations. Recommend program performance measures and oversees the preparation of associated reports and briefs for other Treasury Operations Business Leaders on all matters related to financial management. Develop strategies and decisions that involve new products and services our office would be offering and delivering, and how the organization organizes to support that mission. Drive transformation for the entire organization. S/he searches for opportunities in Treasury Operations to drive reforms through all Treasury Operations organizations to reduce costs and improve processes, service, products, and efficiencies. S/he then champions the process improvement effort and leads the change. This includes making recommendations to the DAS for Treasury Operations on ways to increase business efficiency, including reforms and transformational activities.
